(More customer reviews)After a hiking vacation in Colorado this summer, my 8 yr old son decided to be a frontiersman for Halloween. He got lots of compliments on this costume when he went trick or treating, which he loved! Lots of candy-givers were surprised to see "Davy Crockett" or "Daniel Boone" instead of transformers and star wars costumes and made nice comments. Taking the advice of other purchasers, I ordered up a size and was glad I did. While the sleeves were a little long and had to be pinned up, the pants just fit him in length (I had to pin the waist a little 'cause he is so skinny). Because I bought it a little big, he can wear it next year if he does a presentation at school, etc. The only downside was the coonskin cap - it was really small. We used a cap we bought on vacation, which fit him much better and was better quality. Good costume for the money, though.
