(More customer reviews)I just ordered this because my daughter needs an Indian costume for school on Monday, and it was the cheapest option with Amazon's prime shipping and I could get it in two days. It arrived today, and I took it out of the package and it was tiny! She is 5 years old, and I ordered size 4-6. The description here on Amazon says it will size small is for up to 44" tall, and she is 42" tall. However, the length is WAY too short to wear as a dress. However, she already has some dark brown pants that look good with it, so she will just wear it as a shirt. Also, the sash is very short. It does not hang down to the knee like in the picture. It probably just hangs down about two inches from where I tied it. We may just use it as a headband and stick a feather in it. I agree with the other reviewer that it's not sewn together very well (it looks like the stitches are very loose). Also one of the fringes that hangs down was sewn into the side seam, so I had to cut it out to make it hang down properly. But, like the others have said, my daughter likes it and it looks good on her, so we'll keep it. I wouldn't have time to order the bigger size now anyway. Just know that if you want this to fit your daughter as a dress, then you need to order a bigger than usual size. I noticed on the actual package it came in that it says "Size 4-6 USA for 3-4 years old" -- that makes no sense, but I'm sure it would fit a 3 year old better.
