(More customer reviews)I saw this costume and was in love! My son's favorite book is the very hungry caterpillar so it was great to find a costume. It is very cute. It's not made of the finest material, but it looks a lot better than most packaged halloween costumes, although I wouldn't expect to get much "dress-up" use out of it after the initial halloween parties/trick-or-treating.
The sizing is very small, however. I bought a 3T-4T for my 2 1/2 son. He usually wears 2T-3T, but with it being a halloween costume, I thought a size up would be fine, but it's very tight with clothing on underneath. It's too late to exchange, so I'll just make adjustments at home, but I do wish I bought a larger size.
The head piece is full of stuffing which was a bit too much, making it very tight. I took it out, and it looks exactly the same, without being suffocating.
Overall, I love this costume.
