(More customer reviews)Had to buy a blond wig to complete the look but it was worth it. Everyone RAVED about this costume. Random people asked to take pictures, coworkers made special trips to my cube to see (everyone was talking about little ole me). They all thought I was a genius and soooo creative. It was the most praise I have ever received on Halloween. Pop-culture and cult-classic at the same time, you can't go wrong. I added subtle little bloody scratches to my face, arms and legs to make it a bit more scary.
Now the details.
Pros:
1. Fits perfectly. I'm 5'8 and a size 8 and had no problems.
2. Length is perfect- work appropriate.
3. Color is actually more true to the movie, olive muted green, not bright green as shown in pic - I consider that a plus.
4. Wrist birds and headband bird are easy to adjust and pull off and on.
Cons:
1. Bird quality isn't great. Lot's of lose threads and no detail whatsoever. Hard to tell what they are at night.
2. Little kids won't get it. Too young for Alfred Hitchcock and Tippi Hedren.
3. Jacket is made of foam - so it gets very warm. Luckily the weather has been cooling down here in Texas and I was fine for the most part - just a few moist moments. I just took it off, cooled down, and went back into character.
I would totally recommend this costume - very original and FUN!
