(More customer reviews)The half face mask does as advertised. It protects your face and lips against wind burn, which I needed for snowboarding. The pattern of the skull on the front was an added bonus (gives the impression to others that I am better at snowboarding than I really am). Another plus for the item is that it is reversible! So if I ever grow out of wanting to scare people as I fly down the mountain, I can reverse the face mask and have just a plain black mask showing.
One thing to note is that it is a bit difficult to breathe in. I find myself taking more deep breaths, which in turn, fog up my goggles. This only tends to happen on really cold trips to the snow. Overall, I still like the mask but may look around some more if I needed a replacement.
