(More customer reviews)We purchased this item and returned it in less than 24 hours, after only playing with it for an hour.
The shoulder seam "unthreaded" and the weight of the wings made a hole in the back of the dress. Not only that, the wings were so heavy they were hanging parallel to the floor, not vertical at all. A little girl heavy enough to make the wings vertical is probably not a size 6x.
The concept is good for pretend play and acting out some of the favorite scenes. We have the Mariposa DVD and we're using Halloween costumes for the fairy outfits. That should say something about the quality of this costume as last year's Halloween costumes are more durable.

(More customer reviews)This was truly a beautiful costume. My 4 yo girl just loved it. We wanted to purchase it at the store but they were sold out in September. It must have been popular but we didn't see anyone else wearing one. Everyone who saw her in it thought she was very cute. She now wears it around the house during playtime.
I do wish they had some matching crown and wand (we found something that worked locally). Party America shipped it out promptly.
